This is my POTD of my clock from Switzerland. I love this clock. It has two brothers drinking beer on it.

Today, I went back to school from being out for my grandmother all week. Tonight me and some friends went to a high school football game to photograph it for a project. This is one of 300 images I captured. I really like this shot of both teams facing off and fighting for victory. I loved the emotion in the players faces.

My grandmother passed away on the 23rd of August. She worked everyday of her life and when she died, I decided I would not continue my POTD until she has laid to rest, out of respect for her. This photo was hard for me to take. I was the day of her funeral, several hours after family had all left. My grandfather wanted to go back to the cemetery to say goodbye one more time that day and he wanted pictures of the flowers on the grave. This was a very sad moment but I wanted to honor his request. My grandmother was the hardest working person and the happiest person I have ever known. If it wasn't for her hard work and dedication, our family would not be as blessed as we are. She ran the family business her entire adult life and she was the foundation of our family. She will be greatly missed by all the people she has touched. I love you Grandmother Becky!

August 20, 2010 - August 21, 2010
These two days, I hate to say, are two days I did not capture a photo of the day. I have been having some family illness problems and this was a weekend I could get away and visit old friends at college. I did have my camera with me, but was not paying attention to it to be able to capture a picture. I will continue my POTD's until the year is out.
